i don't know how the players felt, but shortly after the draft, the coaching staff and management were extremely happy to get dennis. reading hc
tomlin's statements at the time, it sounded like he was much happier with getting dennis (in round 5) then mendenhall (round 1). but they did need an rb
and roethlisberger is the man in the 'burgh so that's why dennis fell to that round.
whatever the case, i'm excited to see him get some pt. after watching some of the preseason games he played in, he looks as fast if not faster, then he did at oregon. and those were nfl caliber competition that he was playing in. sooo...don't forget to watch annie. sunday at 1:45 pm on cbs.

rockthief - from what i've seen in the preseason and during the season, his knee looks WWWAAAAYYY healed.
good call annie. but don't be mad if coach tomlin doesn't run a "wildcat" play and dennis isn't able to get on the field. |

Yeah, it was a good game. I thought after BL got in for a couple snaps maybe DD might at least get in to kneel at the very end, but, oh well. After watching
12+ hours of football this weekend I need a week off before watching the playoffs next weekend!
